Dont you hate those sticky steering bike buttons that occur many Mercedes-Benz models over fourth dimension?

Sometimes the plastic around the headlights switch suffers the aforementioned ugly fate..

I personally take seen this on many models, and thankfully accept institute a solution to make clean these areas without removing the paint and markings underneath the gunk.

WET WIPES!!!!

Thats right, Pampers sensitive moisture wipes work best to remove the gluey material without whatsoever damage!

I have done this on many Mercs and it comes out looking corking every time!!!

Simply takes alot of elbow grease only the fibres in the wet wipes helps expedite the process.

Some of the models that definitely suffer from this are:

W203, W210, W211, W220, W221, W164

I've used isopropyl alcohol for this - but I would suggest if anyone else wants to do the same, to attempt a tiny patch outset.

Perfectly right ! Isopropyl may melt this mucilaginous covering film. HOWEVER does work so if you a gently enough, it will work (also will decontaminate all bacteria as well  )

Yea I used a footling scrap a lot of the isopropyl and... I had to get the new buttons
